AESOP BERLIN : WEISSHEITEN STUDIO LENDS ITS TALENTS TO AESOP
Aesop has finally arrived in Germany ! Located in the center of Berlin, the store was designed by the german retail design agency Weiss—heiten. The store design is ambitious. The retail designers drew their inspiration from different elements. First, berlin history has been a great source of inspiration : opposition between old & new, nature & urbanism, beauty and roughness. Then, the retail design agency makes reference to the almost “medical” aspect of the brand by making the store look like a clinic ! Finally, you may have noticed that the store is monochromatic : the store designers wanted to invite nature inside. It also draws inspiration of Bahaus artistic movement. If you please ! Aesop Berlin may be the most inspirational store of all.
You may have noticed that Missions MMM very likes Aesop. Last time, we talked about one of Aesop flagship in Seoul. As usual, the brand created a very unique place, highlighting their products. One common feature between these flagships : they are both monochromatic ! And each Aesop stores are elegant, understated and minimalist. Every stores has its own story and its own soul !
