NATUZZI AUGMENTED STORE : SCIENCE FICTION MEETS REALITY

The Italian furniture brand Natuzzi offers you a journey into the future with its impressive “Augmented Store” ! Inaugurated in August 2019 in NYC, the showroom offers you the opportunity to decorate your interior in virtual reality after reproducing your home in digital version. The goal ? To create an emotional link between the brand and the consumer. This fully immersive experience is provided by the Italian company Hevolus Innovation, specialized in disruptive technologies and immersive experiences. And also by Microsoft’s HoloLens 2 headset ! The latter allows you to interact with the environment, move furniture or change patterns and colours.

From home, it even allows the holographic display of your future furniture! The concept is expected to roll out globally by 2020. Requiring less inventory and square metres, the cost reduction should encourage the company to expand.

A lot of brands are now taking interest into augmented reality. It helps the brands to win the consumers’ loyalty by creating a stronger link between them and the brands. Also, consumers are more inclined to come to the store if it displays virtual reality !
